This is a presentation made to the Rotary District 5110 DISCON conference in Eugene Oregon on May 6, 2023. Dan Smith has just returned from living and experiencing Ukraine for five weeks. Meeting with Rotarians and the people they are helping.
There are two conclusions from the trip; that the Ukrainian people are the true heroes; and that they have something the world needs. Something that is more valuable than money.
Join us as we visit Kyiv, Kharkiv and Cherkasy. Meet the courageous people from the villages and find out how you can help the children overcome many challenges. But most important, how you can share in the adventure.
This is more than just sending money and hope it goes where you want it to. This is being a part of their experiences as they rebuild their lives and homes.
